Soy Marinated Eggs with Sichuan Crunch
Ingredients
6 eggs
3 stalks of green onions, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons House of Trinh Sichuan Crunch
Instructions
Boil the Eggs:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the eggs and boil for 6 minutes.
Prepare the Ice Bath:
While the eggs are boiling, prepare an ice bath. Once the eggs are done, transfer them to the ice bath to cool for easier peeling.
Make the Marinade:
In a bowl, combine the chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, sugar, and House of Trinh Sichuan Crunch. Mix well.
Marinate the Eggs:
Once the eggs are cool, peel them and add them to the marinade. Let them marinate for 2 hours (or up to 24 hours for a deeper flavor).
