House Of Trinh Crispy Brussels

House of Trinh Crispy Brussels

Ingredients:

  • ½ pound Brussels sprouts, halved

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp salt, divided

  • 1-2 tsp black pepper

  • 1-3 tbsp oil, divided (for roasting and sautéing)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2-3 tbsp garlic spread (such as Trader Joe’s Garlic Dip/Spread or Toom Garlic Dip)

  • 2-3 tsp House of Trinh Garlic Crunch

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:

    • Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts. In a bowl, toss them with 1-2 tbsp oil, garlic powder, onion powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1-2 tsp black pepper, ensuring they’re evenly coated.

  2. Air Fry the Brussels Sprouts:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12 minutes.

    • After 12 minutes, give them a good toss and air fry for an additional 8 minutes at 400°F, or until they’re crispy and golden brown.

  3. Prepare the Balsamic Glaze:

    • While the Brussels sprouts are air frying, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the brown sugar and cook, until it dissolves and begins to bubble.

    • Once the sugar has melted, carefully pour in the balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt, then stir to combine. Toss in the crispy brussel sprouts and coat in the balsamic sauce. 

  4. Combine and Serve:

    • Once the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated, transfer them to a bowl. Top with a generous dollop of garlic spread and finish with a of House of Trinh Garlic Crunch for an extra flavor kick.
